Big, booming, deep, gravelly, majestic American voice. Movie Trailers are his thang! Also very adept with Bajan and Jamaican accents, plus a great cockney read. Appeared as Trailer Guy in Sky One's 'Popcorn' with Andy Goldstein.
Redd Pepper as seen in VW Cinema ad campaign, Fifth Gear plus Big Brother, GMTV, Sports Relief 2010, Comic Relief 09 and the BBC's Culture Show. Redd was born in Barbados in 1961, but from the age of three he lived in Manhattan NY. He came to the U.K. in 1976 as a fresh faced fifteen year old. After making up his mind not to follow his father's footsteps to become a criminal lawyer, he left school at 18 and served hamburgers in a fast food store for a few years, until becoming a guard on the London Underground. Progression to Train Driver soon followed, and it was by pure coincidence in 1995 that his voice was heard by a traveling television executive, when he made a public announcement on the train's tannoy. Virtually overnight Redd Pepper became the voice of the Sci-Fi Channel in Europe. The more his deep bass voice was broadcast, the more in demand his voice became. Since then he has become known as 'Mr Movie Trailer Man' from the sheer number of Hollywood blockbusters his voice has trailed. Redd has established himself in other areas too. Radio and TV presenting, plus acting in film, stage and television.
