On Television: David is well known from having spent eleven months playing John Stokes for C5’s Family Affairs, played Harry in four Series’ of the sit-com As Time Goes By , spent two years as Dr Neil Bolton in Heartbeat was Jon Welch in Coronation Street and is the ad hoc Consultant Jeremy Saddler in Casualty. Other work includes Peak Practice, Where the Heart Is, Donovan, the very first Inspector Morse, Channel 4’s Body Stories-Crash and If…things don’t get better for BBC2

In the Theatre: David’s experience includes – the recent Birmingham Rep. tour of Three Sisters, Doug Lucie’s new play at Plymouth called Presence and Robert in Betrayal for Sir Peter Hall’s Company. Prior to that, Andy de la Tour’s new play, Question Time, Alistair Campbell in the Tricycle Theatre’s production of the Hutton Inquiry – Justifying War, Trevor in The Changing Room (Royal Court ) Ralph Grayling in Holidays (West Yorkshire Playhouse), Demetrius in A Midsummer Nights Dream (Regents Park), Geof in A Taste of Honey (Nottingham Playhouse), York and Henry V for the English Shakespeare Company, Pedro Radondo in Fuente Ovejuna (Royal National Theatre), Michael in Helping Harry at the Jermyn St. Theatre

On Film: Capt. Robert Green in Nowhere in Africa which won the Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film in 2003
